Logging in to Authorize.net

Navigating to the Settings Section
Click on the Account tab at the top of the screen.
Configuring Card Code Verification Settings
Note: Card Code Verification is sometimes referred to as CVV.
Go to the Security Settings section, and click the Card Code Verification link.
It is recommended that users uncheck all boxes. For added security, however, the user can check the box for "Does Not Match" if they do not want to accept credit cards that do not have a valid CVV number.
Configuring Address Verification Settings
Note: Address Verification is sometimes referred to as AVS.
Go to the Security Settings section, and click the Address Verification Service link.
It is HIGHLY recommended that users uncheck all boxes, as selecting any of these options will cause reservation bookings to fail in the following situations:
- Card issuer does not supply AVS information
- Guest enters a billing address that does not match the billing address on their credit card (this is more common with international credit cards, which may not have accurate billing address information)
Turning Off Test Mode
Go to the Security Settings section, and click the Test Mode link.
If your account is in "TEST MODE", click the button to turn Test mode OFF.
Obtaining a Login ID and Transaction Key
Go to the Settings page, and click the link for "API Login ID and Transaction Key".
Your Login ID will be listed – make note of it. You will also need to generate a transaction key. Enter the secret answer and click Submit.
Your transaction key will be displayed. Copy this down.
Entering the Login ID and Transaction Key
RezOvation GT
Open RezOvation GT and go to the Configuration screen (click the gear icon in the menu), and find the Property Settings section. Click the link for Credit Card Processing.
Go to the Authorize.net section and select the box for "Enable for Booking Engine Reservations ..." and paste the login ID and transaction in the appropriate locations. Click OK to save the changes.
RezOvation Desktop
- Log in to the RezOvation BE Admin site.
- Select the property you wish to edit.
- Select the Property menu from the options on the left, and click the Finance Settings link.
- The Billing Information section will appear.
- Set the PaymentType to Authorize.NET
- Enter the Authorize.NET Login ID and Transaction Key.
- Select the Save Billing Information button.
